



Classic Match
This is a New Zealand only event that involves using pre 1946 firearms that have a history of military use. Today we have added categories that allow the use of reproductions, 22s and an unrestricted class. Two targets are engaged at 10 and 25 yards and in times of 4, 8 and 15 seconds.
All shots are from a standing position; there are no reloads. Holsters are not required.
A total of 48 rounds are required
Service Pistol
This match is shot only in Australia and New Zealand. There are two divisions, Service and Unrestricted. The match is usually shot with a 38 revolver or a 9mm pistol.
Four targets are engaged at distances from 7 to 50 yards and in time frames from 4 seconds to 165 seconds. Reloading during the course of fire is required and you shoot from standing, prone, sitting and kneeling positions. Service requires the use of a holster, the Unrestricted Division does not.
A total of 90 rounds are required.
WA1500
This match is an Internationally shot match. There are four major divisions where you usually use either 38 revolvers or 9mm pistols. There are divisions for both optically sighted and iron sighted firearms.
A single target is engaged at distances from 7 to 50 yards. Reloading during the course of fire is required and you shoot from standing, prone, sitting and kneeling positions. WA1500 requires the use of a holster.
A total of 150 rounds are required.
There is also a 48 Shot match shot at 3, 7, 15 and 25 yards, and a 60 shot match shot from 7, 25 and 50 yards.
